Winter Wandering & Hypothermia can be deadly
Saw a story this week about an 80-year-old Maryland woman who wandered away from her caretakers’ home and was found by a neighbor about 75 minutes later suffering from hypothermia and injuries from a fall. The temperature at the time was 31 degrees! She survived fortunately. She was not wearing shoes or a coat -- and of course no secure EmFinders device.
